Highland Park District of Finance Director citing problems with the country in an effort …

LANSING – Financial Director of Highland Park School District money says many problems can be solved if State officials have a good working relationship with the district.

“Truth and justice are not served from Lansing,” Lane Highland Park School Financial Director Randy said during a hearing Friday. “The district had taken action to turn around the deficit.”

Lane added that the district already has a deficit of-elimination plan in place that is a call to improve the finances for the past four years, if the State allows a chance.

“We have reduced operating expenses significantly over the past year,” Lane to members of the Council, which includes the State Education Department Deputy Superintendent Carol Wolenberg and Chairman of the hearing, Deputy State Treasurer Roger Fraser. “About half of the budget has been cut.”
